국내 헬스케어 및 의료기기 제품들이 글로벌시장 진출과 시장경쟁력을 갖추기 위해서는 반드시 글로벌 규격을 기반으로 개발되고 평가를 받아야 합니다.
산업통상자원부의 산업혁신기반구축사업 ‘지능형 의지보조 및 의료용 자동형이동기기 트랙레코드 구축 사업단’과 교육부 LINC3.0 ‘메디바이오 ICC’의 지원을 받아 운영되고 있는 건양대학교 메디바이오 국제인증지원센터는 이러한 글로벌 스탠다드를 기반으로 사용성 평가 및 교육을 제공합니다. 더 나아가 수요기업이 자체 사용성 평가를 할 수 있는 역량을 갖추도록 맞춤형 교육도 실시합니다.

메디바이오 국제인증지원센터의 주력 사업 중 하나인 사용성 평가(Usability Evaluation)는 국제 표준화 기구 ISO 규정을 기반으로 개발 중이거나 이미 개발된 제품의 사용성을 평가하는 것으로, 국제인증지원센터는 독일 등 유럽에서 평가하는 방법과 프로세스를 도입하여 진행하고 있습니다. 이로 인해 총괄평가(Summative Evaluation)의 경우, 식약처의 GMP 심사와 함께 유럽(CE-MDR) 및 미국 시장(FDA)에서도 인정받을 수 있는 기술문서 작성을 지원합니다.

또한 본 센터는 국제 사용성 및 사용자경험 자격위원회*(International Usability & UX Qualification Board, UXQB)와 MOU를 체결하고 한국 내 공식 교육 제공기관으로 승인받아(2024년 3월 5일자) UXQB의 자격증(Certified Professionals for Usability & UX, CPUX) 커리큘럼에 기반한 사용성 전문가 교육을 실시합니다.

In order to enter the global market and achieve market competitiveness, it is imperative for domestic products to be developed and evaluated based on global standards. Supported by the Government of the Republic of Korea, the Support Organization for International Accreditation (SOfIA) at Konyang University offers usability evaluation and training programs for usability professionals aligned with global standards. These programs are supported by the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy's endeavor for the 'Establishment of Track Record for AI-based Prosthetic Devices and Medical Automobilities,' as well as the Ministry of Education’s LINC3.0 initiative, 'Medibio ICC.’ Additionally, it provides customized training to enable companies to conduct their own usability evaluations.

One of the center's key initiatives, the Usability Evaluation, assesses the usability of products, either under development or already on the market, following the guidelines of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). The center utilizes evaluation tools and processes employed in Europe, particularly in Germany, to assist in creating usability engineering files that meet the requirements for Summative Evaluation to get recognized in the European (CE-MDR) and US (FDA) markets, as well as for the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS)'s GMP review.

Moreover, the center has signed an MOU with the International Usability & UX Qualification Board* (UXQB) and has been approved as an official training provider in Korea, on March 5th, 2024. It conducts professional usability training based on the curriculum for the Certified Professional for Usability and User Experience (CPUX) qualifications offered by UXQB.
